The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW) is announcing the availability of $2.75 million in health care grants for Wisconsin-based maternal and child health programs and projects, awarded to the state through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is partnering with AHW to promote the available funds, leveraging the endowment’s statewide reach and relationships. AHW will identify innovative maternal and child health programs and projects to address disparities and inequities in Wisconsin communities.
Applicants can apply for grants of up to $250,000 for projects to be completed within 18 months, from July 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024. The deadline to apply for ARPA funds being administered by AHW is 5 p.m. CST, March 6, 2023.
Grant funding is available to Wisconsin-based nonprofit hospitals/health systems, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and other nonprofit entities in Wisconsin.
