AHW is pleased to share a summary report of our support of Wisconsin’s response and recovery to COVID-19. Covering the period of spring 2020 through fall 2021, the report provides an overview of investments and outcomes of our response, including:

The support provided to active grantees, enabling 29 funded projects to adjust to COVID-19 impacts on research and community health initiatives

The award of $4.8 million to 17 projects, launching work across Wisconsin to respond to COVID-19, with a focus on underserved, underrepresented, and marginalized populations

The continued investment as the pandemic evolved, including how previously funded projects led to critical COVID-19 response activities, including vaccination efforts statewide, as well as an additional award of $230,000 to support vaccination outreach to highly impacted populations in Milwaukee County

The work to look toward ongoing recovery, including our outreach to 250 individuals and organizations to inform how we can best support long-term health needs and health equity in Wisconsin
