Learning Event Support RFA Release
AHW is proud to announce the availability of up to $200,000 in funding to support Wisconsin-based learning events that build knowledge, skills and networks among Wisconsin’s current and future health workforce.
“At the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment, we are committed to supporting our partners across the state who support Wisconsin’s current and future health workforce, including healthcare providers, community and public health professionals, and health researchers,” said Jesse Ehrenfeld, MD, MPH, director of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment and senior associate dean at the Medical College of Wisconsin. “Learning events that bring professionals together help to develop and grow a workforce that is poised to meet the diverse and evolving needs of Wisconsin residents now and for generations to come.”
AHW Learning Event Support applications are accepted on rolling first-come, first-serve basis while funding remains available and applicants can request up to $5,000 per learning event. Two complementary funding opportunities aim to support AHW’s diverse partners across the state:
- Community-led Learning Event Support funding invests in events hosted by eligible Wisconsin-based 501c3 non-profit or governmental organizations. Learn more about the community-led funding opportunity here.
- MCW-led Learning Event Support funding invests in events hosted by eligible MCW School of Medicine faculty. Learn more about the MCW-led funding opportunity here.
Interested applicants are encouraged to review the funding opportunity webpages and materials in detail and setup a time to connect with the AHW team to share more about your learning event and discuss the funding opportunity, eligibility requirements, and application process.
