AHW Director Named Notable Hero in Health Care

Nominated by their peers at work and in the community, this group of individuals showcase the diversity of talent and dedication in our market and set an example to shape a better future for our region.

Dr. Ehrenfeld has been recognized for the energy and commitment he brings to helping organizations in the Milwaukee area and around the state meet challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, including leading the investment of nearly $5 million into projects across the state to support COVID-19 response, as well as challenges wrought by social disparities through continued funding opportunities aimed at improving health and advancing health equity, as well as his advocacy on behalf of LGBTQ individuals.
